WORLD LEADING TRAINING CAMPS

Training camps with MPD Academies are run by professional coaches who have instructed and competed at the highest levels of the game. Training camps can either be focused on the enhancement of individual performance or working on developing the team and its formations.

Choose from one of our arranged training camps or get in touch to organise a specific camp in your home region.

Players receive digital video analysis and a detailed analysis of strengths and weaknesses, as well as a progressive plan.

BREAKDOWN OF A SEVEN NIGHT COACHING PROGRAM (10 & 14 NIGHT PROGRAMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE):

DAY 1

SATURDAY

Transfer from arrival airport to training centre and accommodation for travelling clubs, or coach transfer for home region clubs/individuals.

Welcome meeting and induction.

DAY 2

SUNDAY

Assessment day.

Coaches will put athletes through full kinetic chain assessment and assess strengths & weaknesses to focus on during the week.

DAY 3

MONDAY

Stage 1 of coaching module: practical coaching.

Coaches will begin working on practical skills with team or individual based on initial assessment and requirements of personal coach.

DAY 4

TUESDAY

Technical, strengthening, nutrition and psychology development. Our team of strength & conditioning coaches are experienced in working with individual athletes, squads and teams to enhance physical performance.

DAY 5

WEDNESDAY

Stage 2 of coaching module: practical coaching

Depending on your sport and whether you require group or individual coaching this session will be focusing on different skills from stage 1.

DAY 6

THURSDAY

Testing and competition analysis

DAY 7

FRIDAY

Individual assessment report and presentation evening.

Every player receives a detailed analysis of strengths and weaknesses, as well as a progressive plan for continued development.

08:30am - 09:30am Warm up , including stretching and skill games.
10:15am - 11:00am Skill 1 – Batting versus Spin (emphasis on batting against spin bowling – foot work etc)
11:00am - 11:15am Drinks Break
11:15am - 12:00pm Skill 2 – Bowling Slower Ball Variations
12:00pm - 12:30pm Game Play 1 – Batting Challenge: Attacking the final T20 over
12:30pm - 13:30pm Lunch & Quiz
13:30pm - 14:45pm Game Play 2 – T20 Net Session with Video Analysis
14:45pm - 15:00pm Drinks Break
15:00pm - 16:30pm Game Play 3 – Middle Practice – Match understanding and practice various scenarios
